TU holds 44th convocation
Tribhuvan University (TU) held its 44th convocation on Monday. Out of the total 73,901 graduates who passed between June 1, 2017 and June 14, 2018, from the TU colleges, about 10,000 took part in the convocation ceremony held on the premises of the Institute of Engineering, Pulchowk, on Monday.
According to TU, there are a total of some 73,901 graduates including PhD, Mphil, Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree holders. The total graduates include 24,703 from the Education stream, 22,609 from Management stream, 14,215 from Humanities and Social Science stream and 1,350 from Law stream.
Similarly, a total of 5,955 were from Science and Technology, 2,712 from Engineering, 1,821 from Medical Sciences, 326 from Agriculture and Livestock Sciences and 210 from Forestry streams.
Prime Minister KP Oli also attended the convocation function. Prof Dr Mahendra P Lama, former vice chancellor of Sikkim University, was the chief guest.
Established in 1959, TU has now altogether 367,427 students pursuing their studies in different faculties and streams. TU has 1,146 campuses including 60 constituent campuses and one central campus across the country.

TU publishes Convocation Gown/Scurf/Cap distribution notice
Tribhuvan University has published notice regarding Convocation Gown/ Scurf/ Cap distribution notice for its 44th Convocation Ceremony. TU 44th Convocation Ceremony is going to be held on December 31, 2018 (Poush 16, 2075) at the Pulchowk Campus (sports ground), Lalitpur.Out of around 84,000 graduates under the Tribhuvan University (TU) campuses across the country, about 10,000 graduates will take part in the convocation ceremony to be held on TU campus in Kirtipur on December 31 (republica).
As per notice, Participants students are requested to be in their respective Convocation Gown/ Scurf/ Cap and should enter Pulchowk ground at 10:00 AM and sit accordingly as per seating arrangement. The Convocation Gown/Scurf/Cap distribution starts from Poush 08, 2075 to Poush 15, 2075. Students can collect their Convocation Gown/ Scurf/ Cap at Office of the Controller of Examinations, Balkhu from 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

TU publishes date, venue and award recipients for 44th Convocation Ceremony
Tribhuvan University, Examination Controller office, Balkhu has published a notice regarding the 44th Convocation Ceremony.
> Convocation Date:
The 44th Convocation ceremony is going to be held on Monday, Poush 16, 2075 (December 31, 2018) at the sports ground of Pulchowk Campus, Lalitpur.
> Award Recipients List:
TU has published the list of students who will be awarded in various categories in upcoming 44th Convocation of Tribhuvan University. The selected candidates are requested to contact Exam Controller Office, Balkhu with the necessary documents from Poush 2, 2075 to Poush 10, 2075.
Similarly, the students whose name is not in the list can contact Exam Control Office for correction with necessary evidence by Poush 1, 2075 (December 16, 2018).

According to TU's 44th grace list, students who have passed their examinations (semester/ yearly exams of Bachelor, or Masters or M.Phil or PhD) and have also received the Transcript in between 1st June 2017 to 14th June 2018 (i.e. 2074 Jestha 18 to 2075 Jestha 31) are eligible to apply.

Tribhuvan University, Examination Controller Office, Balkhu has published notice regarding extension of the deadline to fill the application form for 44th Convocation Ceremony.As per new notice, new date to submit the application form is by Kartik 15, 2075 (November 01, 2018). Previously, deadline was Kartik 07, 2075( October 24, 2018)

Students who have passed and have also received their academic transcript in the following mentioned dates are requested to fill the application form and are eligible to apply for the 44th Convocation Ceremony of Tribhuvan University. Application form should reach Tribhuvan University, Office of the controller of Examination, records or marksheet department within Kartik 7, 2075 .(As per new notice, Deadline is Kartik 15, 2075)

ELIGIBILITY

FEE DESCRIPTION
If student wants to take their Guardian (Maximum Number: 2) in the Convocation Program, then they have to pay Non-Refundable Charge of NPR 300 Rupees per each Guardian.

Convocation Fee:2,200 , Gown and Scurf Deposit Fee: 1500
Total: 3,200
> Level:Masters and M.Phil
Convocation Fee:2700 , Gown and Scurf Deposit Fee: 1500
Total: 4200
> Level:PhD
Convocation Fee: 3200 , Gown and Scurf Deposit Fee: 1500
Total: 4700
METHOD
Students are requested to fill and submit the Online Application [ LINK HERE ]. Online form will be available from Ashoj 4, 2075 to Kartik 7, 2075 .Before submitting application form, students are requested to verify application form from Marksheet division. Students should take your Registration number along with their original transcript.
