Course Description:
This program is designed to produce engineers with strong foundation and advance knowledge in the areas of Engineering Design, Energy and maintenance, keeping particular needs of Nepalese Industries, research and development activities in mind. Research and practical skill are encouraged through project and dissertation work.
Admission info
The department seeks applications from highly competitive students with a four years under graduate degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Automobile engineering for admission to its terminal masters degree program. The selection of the applicants is based on experience, academic records, entrance test and interview.
Admission Requirement for Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Application form with non-refundable fee of NRs. 700/-
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Any other degree in engineering can also aplly for M.E in Mechanical Engineering, specialization in Hydropower)
- Have a minimum cumulative grade point average of at least 2.5 in 4.0 scale system (where A = 4, B = 3, C = 2 & D = 1).
