Course Description:

Ten Plus Two (+2) Education is a two-year program affiliated with Nepal's National Examinations Board (NEB). The course is designed to give students a fundamental understanding of the educational system and to prepare them for further studies in education. The course also serves as the foundation for education for Lower Secondary teachers.It teaches students about the methods, procedures, and concepts of guidance and counseling, which will help them become better leaders in the future.

Students will gain knowledge of educational theory and practice, as well as practical skills that will be useful in a variety of educational careers.The program also prepares students for further studies in the field, making it an excellent choice for students pursuing a Bachelor's in Education Degree.

Students will have gained a foundational understanding of education theory and practice, as well as practical skills related to teaching and education, by the end of the Ten Plus Two (+2) Education program. They will have also enhanced their communication and critical thinking abilities.

Career Prospects:
Graduates of the Ten Plus Two (+2) Education program may go on to work in teaching, educational administration, curriculum development, educational research, or other fields related to education. They could be employed by schools, colleges, universities, educational institutions, or government agencies.

Eligibility
Students must have completed SEE or equivalent with a minimum GPA 1.6. He/She should have minimum D+ in English, Nepali, Social Studies and EPH.

Curricular Structure
The Curriculum Development Center recently unveiled the new 11th and 12th grade curriculum. The new curriculum has done away with the system of specific stream-based education, such as Ten Plus Two Science, Management, Humanities, and so on.
