Course Description:
BTTM Programs Mission and Objectives
The mission of the BTTM program is to produce first level and middle management level tourism processionals to serve in the travel and tourism industry, both at the public and private sector.
The specific objectives of the program are to:
- Gain an understanding of travel and tourism industry and its operations both theoretically and practically.
- Handle functions of international tourist service operations, including handling, managing and planning tour trek and rafting programs and handlings domestic and international air ticketing and reservation.
- Able to understand and appreciate the need and functions of tourism marketing, tourism development planning, measurement and management.
- Develop a sustainable personality to match the required professional demand of the tourism sector.
- Persue further studies in travel and tourism.
- In order to attain/achieve the objectives as stated above the students undergoing this BTTM course will require to study twenty seven subjects including management, analytical, compulsory core, core and electives subjects plus industrial attachment and project works and per the details given below.
Admission info
Eligibility :
> Minimum 40 marks in CMAT taken by FoM, TU.
> Minimum of D grade in each subjects of grade 11 and 12 with CGPA 1.8 or More
> Minimum score of Second Division Marks in 10+2, PCL or equivalent in any discipline.
> And for the students those who have passed before 2079, Minimum D+ Grade in each subject of Grade 11 and 12 with CGPA 1.8 or more.
