Course Description:

The program aims to equip trainees with required underpinning skills as specified by job analysis the national and international skills. The focus of the course will be one exploring areas related with patients, so as to build competency of course attendants and thus enable them to undertake their duties independently. It is hoped that after completing the course successfully they will be able to undertake Dental Lab Mechanics profession.

The short term on "Dental Lab Mechanics", courses, covers areas related with the program. Though some basic and essential theoretical inputs have been included yet the main focus is on enhancement of required skills, enabling techniques and competency building in Dental Lab Mechanics.

In every subject, topical explanations will be followed by demonstrations instructors, and in most sessions, instructors will ask trainees to practice themselves and/or hands-on exercise so that they internalize what they learn in the classroom.

Syllabus

The course has only one exit. Trainees who complete the total program or undertake the module as specified will satisfy the requirements laid-down will be awarded the certificate.

PROGRAM DURATION

After finishing the course, the trainees will be kept one month On the Job Training in some Dental Laboratories to exposure in real job situations. There they will refine their concepts and skills, which they have already learnt in the institute. For that, the institute will manage.
