Course Description:
Dental Nurses are one of the most important groups within the dental team. They assist the dentist throughout the day and may act as advocates for the patient, as well as being an integral part of the dentist's clinical regime.
Dental Nurses provide a second pair of hands in the surgery and are valuable members of the dental surgeon's team. Dental Nurse training covers a large part of the Dental Nurse syllabus and you'll be encouraged and assisted to gain this qualification. You'll be responsible for looking after all the instruments and equipment in the surgery, as well as the smooth running of the surgery itself.
The dental nurse is essential in a well organized and managed in dental practice. H/She also assists the dentists in all aspects of patient treatment and plays a vital role in patient care.
The modern dental nurse trains in all aspects of clinical practice and dental health education. This course gives you the skills and practical competence needed to work in the dental surgery. You learn about the day to day running of a dental practice.
