Course Description:
Program Objective
The EMBA program has higher inclination in the integration of operational functionalism of various business organizations and it requires a lot of sharing of cases from various organizations where the participating graduates have been carrying out their professional careers.
Graduation Requirements |

Students must complete all the requirements of the program within the maximum period of credit accumulation allowed for the program. Students failing to do so must withdraw from the program. The students of the EMBA program must fulfill the following requirements for graduation: |

a. |
The successful completion of 69 credit hours with a minimum passing grade of "C" in all papers and project work at the end of the 4th semester. |
b. |
The successful completion of the program within the maximum period of credit accumulation with an aggregate grade of "C" or CGPA of 2.0. |

A candidate applying for admission to the EMBA program should have the following minimum qualifications: |

a. |
Bachelor degree in any stream with minimum of 14 years formal education system. |
b. |
Candidates having First division in bachelor's degree require minimum 1 year work experience whereas candidates with 40% or more but less than 60% in Bachelor degree require minimum 2 years' work experience after the completion of Bachelor degree. |

Course objective:
Business Management
The primary objective of this course is to impart in participating graduates with a firm understanding of the key management process and functions. After studying this course, the graduates are expected to analyze independently the basic management processes and functions of the organizations specializing in diverse field of operations.
Micro-economic Analysis
This course intends to develop analytical skills among the graduates in respect with micro-economic activities that include market demand and supply, consumer behavior, factors of production, and government's role in the prevailing economy. The capabilities and skills in analyzing the micro-economic perspectives are expected to lead the graduates in their professional decision-making.
Business Statistics
This course attempts to provide with basic understanding and techniques necessary for general statistical presentation and analysis in relation to business activities.
Management Accounting
The primary objective of this course is to provide the EMBA graduates with a sound understanding of the concepts of management accounting and applications of various management accounting tools and techniques in organizational planning, decision making, and controlling.
Human Resources Management
This course intends to provide with basic knowledge about human resources management theories and applications. Primarily, the course is focused to provide basic knowledge on human resource environment and issues governing human resources functions in organizations.
Managerial Communications
This course intends to equip the graduates with necessary skills and competencies in organizational communication so as to improve organizational performance and goodwill.
Macro-economic Analysis
This course intends to provide the depth knowledge of macro-economic perspectives so as to facilitate macro-economic decisions in real organizations.
Quantitative Techniques
This course has been designed to accomplish the management decision making needs of construction of mathematical models. The course attempts to establish a sound understanding of necessary technical concepts for facilitating optimum sound in organization operations.
Organizational Psychology
This course aims to provide the graduates with a sound understanding of the principles and practices of organizational psychology in reference with individual, group, and systems model of organizational behavior.
Marketing Management
This course aims to equip students with necessary skills and capabilities to analyze market situations, formulate marketing management strategies, action programs, and implement them more effectively.
Corporate Financial Management
After the completion of this course, the graduates will be able to demonstrate adequate working knowledge of capital budgeting concept and analysis, and divided policy choices. The graduates will learn how corporate finance concepts, such as time value of money, cash flows, liquidity, cost of capital, and dividends, are used in the valuation process.
Research Methodology
This course aims to develop in graduates the depth understanding of research methodologies in terms of various techniques of review of literature, research approaches and designs, fielding of the study and data reduction and analysis for producing formal research report. This course also develops the analytical skills among the graduates by the help of empirical studies.
Legal Framework of Business
This course provides with the depth exposure of basic concepts and procedural requirements of business law in the national as well as international context with specific focus on law of contract, law of sale of goods, law of partnership, and law of negotiable instruments.
Management Information System
This course provides with the basic understanding of management information systems process and its various components. As the managerial perspective, the course intends to provide basic knowledge on how the information has been generated, processed, stored, and disseminated among the various departments and individuals within the organizational system.
Strategic Management
This course intends to provide the management of strategy in the business enterprise. It integrates the work of strategic management theorists, practitioners and researcher along with adequate emphasis on real world applications of concepts. The strategic management process comprising strategic formulation, implementation and control are the key aspects of the course.
Production and Operations Management
This course has been designed to impart the graduates with the basic concepts and applications of a productive system and various decisions required to be taken in the field of production and operations management so as to produce competent graduates to meet the professional requirements of today's dynamic business environment.
International Business
This course intends to acquaint the graduates with the international business environment and enhance their understanding on practical aspects of the international business system.
Total Quality Management
This course aims to impart in graduates the basic conceptual knowledge about the concept of quality operations and its effects on overall business functions.
