Course Description:
The Master of Arts (MA) in Rural Development is a two-year degree program offered by the Central Department of Rural Development (CDRD) at Tribhuvan University in Nepal. The program aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of rural development theories, practices, and policies. Eligibility
Candidates having at least a bachelor's degree or above from any discipline from Tribhuvan University or any recognized University will be eligible to participate in the entrance system. The candidates able to secure their position in the entrance system based upon merit system will be eligible for admission.

The MA in Rural Development program consists of 10 papers that are covered over the duration of two years. The curriculum includes core subjects as well as elective options for specialization in areas such as thesis, project report/cooperative and gender development, or natural resource management for rural development.
