Big winners at 'Bajaj Pulsar Expression'
Ace Institute of Management (undergraduate school) and Prime College came out on top, after winning the coveted fashion show and music awards respectively, at ‘Bajaj Pulsar Expression’ an event for young college-students that took place in the Capital on August 15 and 16. The fashion show and concert took place at the Nepal Academy Hall grounds on the second day of the inter-college fest, and the young student’s identities truly shone, whether they were walking down the ramp or expressing themselves through their music.
Participants in the fashion runway contest also included Kathmandu Don Bosco College, IIMS College, Cosmos College and Apex College. It was the three-member judging panel formed by Bina Ghale, Nagma Shrestha and Anila Shrestha who decided on conferring the winning title to Ace. There was also a dance competition organised as part of the programme, and Jeniza Manandhar and Ayush B Bajracharya from VS Niketan came out as its winners. Similarly, Pravin Pathak, Suyog Khadka, Melina, Anup and Akash from Apex College walked away with the ‘best ad’ award. The event also featured drama and art competitions, and stayed true to its theme: ‘express yourself: release your soul, release your mind’.
