TU not to postpone ongoing examinations
Tribhuvan University (TU) has informed that the ongoing examinations of the varsity will not be halted for now.
Puspa Raj Joshi, controller of the Office of the Controller of the Examinations, said that the ongoing examinations would not be postponed for now and that they would conclude on August 12. Currently, the university has been conducting the examinations of Bachelor’s degree.
He added that the university would decide later about other examinations.
Along with TU, Purbanchal University, Pokhara University and other universities conducted final examinations of their students physically in July and August after getting permission from CCMC. Though many institutions completed their halted examinations in those months, the NEB hasn’t been able conduct Grade XII examinations, leaving the future of some 400,000 students uncertain.
