Admission Notice:Masters in Development Studies from Kathmandu University
Kathmandu University, School of Arts announces opening of admissions for Masters Program in Development Studies for Spring session of 2014
The program emphasizes on acquiring knowledge and skills concerning
> Development Concepts, theories, human and social development,
> Tools and techniques for analysis of development
> Contemporary issues on sectoral, regional and global development
> Nepal's current development challenges, and
> Development internship
The entire course is highly participatory and students are expected to take an active role in the preparation and leading of class discussions, presentations and filed work.
Eligibility
Completion of a minimum of three-year Bachelors degree or a Masters degree with a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.5 out of 4.0 or an equivalent of 50 percent marks in the latest degree acquired will be the basic criteria. Also, a strong performance in the entrance exam will be essential. The entrance exam will test the candidates language proficiency and analytical abilities.
The new semester will begin from the beginning of February 2014
> Form distribution: December 15, 2013 to January 14, 2014
> Last date for form submission: January 15, 2014
> Entrance exam: January 17, 2014
> Interview: January 20-21, 2014
> Admissions for selected students: January 23-31, 2014
