The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN) is hosting the Grand CA Education Fair 2018 at Nepal Police Club, Bhrikutimandap on Monday in order to provide in-depth information about CA Education and its scope.

CA Education Fair 2018 is dedicated solely towards promoting Chartered Accountancy courses in Nepal and abroad.

The event is a platform for students to gain clear insight regarding education and its opportunities in the domestic and global market.    


The ICAN is organising this event in association with its accredited coaching centres namely CCMA College, CIMA Academics, Chaitanya Institute of Management and Academy of Commerce.

The main purpose of this fair is to create a meeting place between students, ICAN and its accredited coaching centres from the Kathmandu Valley, where students can learn about the education process, criteria , scope and opportunities to become a CA, said the press statement issued by ICAN. “The event can be a platform to create opportunities for prospective students to receive valuable information about educational opportunities both within and outside the country, including information about obtaining different scholarships, grants and support.”

The accounting profession has always been known to shape the business, support organisations with its strategies and prepare for future challenges.

Over the next decade, as operating environments become more complex, professional accountants need to lead from the front to help organisations achieve their objectives, think and behave more strategically and become more involved in decision making, it said.

“This event will be an enriching experience for students to consider the opportunities and challenges of getting the CA certification.”
