School Enterprise Challenge: Win $5000
The School Enterprise Challenge, www.schoolenterprisechallenge.org , is a global competition for schools to establish new school-based enterprises, or to develop existing ones further. This is a fantastic opportunity to generate additional income for your school and develop partnerships with schools overseas - and by entering you stand a chance of winning a top prize of $5,000.
For a school to take part the teacher/principal should sign up to the website and the students need to think of a business they can run to make the most profit. With the help of their teacher the students area asked to submit a basic business plan to Teach a Man to Fish who review this and provide support.
The most important objective of the competition is that students get a chance to develop entrepreneurial skills and learn practically.
Schools don't have to start on a large scale to stand a good chance of winning - we want schools to start enterprises with whatever resources they can get their hands on.
