Information about the Bachelor Degree
Students working for their bachelor's degree are usually dedicated to a specific field of study they wish to use in order to gain employment. Bachelor's degrees come in many forms and can make the difference in getting a student the high starting wage and potential career advances they dream of. Students are usually required to take a certain number of classes within a field of study (major requirements) as well as classes outside of it (general education requirements). Students of a particular major can also choose to minor or double-major and add to their growing knowledge base. Bachelor's degrees are usually earned in three years mostly in case of Tribhuvan University for courses like BBS, BA or four years like BBA, BE, BIM etc and come in several types. Students can expect to earn these degrees through accredited colleges and universities. Each school has different requirements and are either running on quarter or semester systems, which may affect the amount of time and study a student must dedicate in order to graduate.

Information about the Master Degree
Masters degrees tend to last anywhere between one and two years in duration, depending on where and how you study, and cover the entire range of academic and professional disciplines. However, in context of Nepal, Master degrees are of two years.

Masters degrees represent an opportunity for many students to gain specialist knowledge in a short period of time without having to pursue a more rigorous research program. For most students, this will be the last qualification for which they will study and therefore the skills and experience gained will have a direct impact on how they advance in their careers, whether they are staying in the same field or seeking a career switch.

Master's degrees, which are the lower of the two types of graduate degrees, are highly sought after. There are many types of such degrees, including Master of Engineering (ME) degrees, Master of Arts (MA) degrees, Master of Pharmacy (MPharm), Master of Science (MS) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees. Those who study technical or science-related fields often earn MS degrees, while those who study humanities or the liberal arts earn MA's. MBAs are among the most popular master's degrees earned and, as the name suggests, are offered in business and management -related fields. Master's degree programs typically require at least two years of post-baccalaureate study and, require, the writing of a dissertation on issues of organization. These requirements do vary by field and institutions, however, so one should research more specific requirements before setting long-term educational goals.

Types of Doctorate Degrees
The doctorate degree is the highest degree that can be awarded to any student. . There are three traditional types of doctorate degrees: professional, research/terminal, and honorary. To be eligible for doctorate study, candidates must first achieve a bachelor's degree. Those who are interested in obtaining a doctorate degree should first choose a subject of study. Then, the prospective student should choose a school that is recognized for their excellence in the subject. This will help in providing the best fit for the student.

Diploma Programs
Those who are interested in increasing their knowledge in a particular discipline without entering a formal degree program may wish to pursue an education in a diploma program. Diploma programs are similar to certificate programs. By completing coursework, one may gain additional knowledge in a specific area of study. As a result, one can reap the benefits of increased value as an employee as well as greater expertise in their discipline. Gaining mastery of a subject can lead to more favorable employment opportunities. Usually, graduates and professionals enroll in diploma programs to gain an edge over the competition and boost their knowledge.

Non-Degree Programs, General
Anyone wishing to learn more about a particular field or specialization without enrolling in a degree program may wish to explore the many non-degree programs available. General non-degree programs include many different types of certificate programs, general academic courses, or diploma programs. Computer Point, MAC, Arena Multimedia and Pentasoft are a few of the companies that offer non-degree training. Those with an interest in a degree program can also take non-degree courses prior to applying for a degree program. Administration, nursing, education, and technical communications are just a few of the areas that offer non-degree training. People often take non-degree programs to increase their value to employers.

Those who are interested in a non-degree program that allows one to focus on a specific area may wish to enter enroll in specialized coursework. Coursework programs can be beneficial because the student can earn a certificate or diploma. Completing coursework may result in advanced training and qualification. Postgraduate coursework programs may provide value for one's professional development. Coursework is available in a variety of areas and fields, such as economics, management, medicine, and health services. The professionals who wish to further develop their expertise may find coursework programs ideal.
