Syllabus of Lok Sewa Nayab Subba (NaSu) Exam
The Public Service Commission (Lok Sewa Aayog) holds Integrated and Unified Examinations to select Nayab Subba (Non-Gazetted First Class Officer) Non-Technical candidates for a variety of services, including the Judicial, Legislature, General Administration, Parliamentary and Foreign Affairs Service, Provincial Administrative Service, and other Groups.
Lok Sewa Aayog (Public Service Commission -PSC), Central Office, Anamnagar, Kathmandu has published the new Syllabus for Nayab Subba (NaSu) Positions 2081. The Nayab Subba Syllabus is intended to prepare candidates for competitive exams administered by the Public Service Commission (Lok Sewa Aayog). The syllabus outlines the essential topics and subjects that aspirants must master in order to be considered for the position of Nayab Subba.
Candidates are encouraged to self-study, use study materials, take mock exams, and stay up to date on current events to improve their preparation.
Nayab Subba (NaSu) Exam Syllabus
The syllabus is based on the Integrated and Unified Examination System. It is divided into two parts: the written examination (first and second stages), and the final stage examination (computer skill test and interview).
Part - 1: Written Examination (300 Marks)
All of the aforementioned services require written examinations. The written examination consists of two stages: the first is worth 100 marks and the second is worth 200 marks.
First Stage-100 Marks
- The stage I also called the preliminary examiantion is the examination for General Knowledge & General Mental Ability Test. It carries Objective Multiple Choice Questions.
- The first stage (Stage - I) of the written examination will be a preliminary examination. This preliminary examination will only be considered a screening test, and the marks obtained in this examination will not be included in the main examination's marks.
Second Stage - 200 Marks
- The second stage also called Main Examination consists of the written examination of two papers.
- The first paper (Contemporary Studies & Public Service Management) is common for all the services. The total duration of the examination is 2 hours and 30 minutes. The full mark for the exam is 100, and students have to get at least 40 marks to pass the paper.
- The second paper is about Service-Group related Subjects. The examination system involves subjective (short and long Answers). It is 100 marks, and students should get 40 marks to pass the examination. The exam duration is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Part - 2: Final Stage Examination (40 Marks)
The final examination consists of a computer skills test and an interview.
- Computer Skill Test: 10 Marks. It is a practical exam of 15 minutes.
- Interview : The interview is an oral exam that carries 30 points. The duration of the interview may vary depending on the candidate.
FINAL RESULTS
The final examination results will be published based on the total marks from the second and final stages of the examination.
