VACANCY NOTICE
Nepal SBI Merchant Banking Ltd. (NSMBL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Nepal SBI Bank and one of the emerging investment banking institution having foreign collaboration with SBI Capital Markets Limited (India) seeks for application from dynamic, energetic, self-motivated candidates for the following position.

Position: Chartered Accountant (Senior Officer)

Education Qualification
> Candidate must be a qualified Chartered Accountant from a recognized institution.

Experience:
> Candidate must have at least 2 years of work in managing overall finance, accounting and taxation. Experience in Investment Banking is an advantage.

Age: Candidate must be Nepalese Citizen not exceeding 35 years as on last date of application.

Key Responsibilities:
> Lead and mentor the Finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
> Prepare financial reporting in compliance with accounting principles, financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
> Oversee tax planning, compliance and reporting to ensure adherence to relevant tax laws and regulations.
> Develop and implement financial strategies, offering insights and recommendations to support the company’s objectives.
> Lead budgeting of financial plan, review the periodic performance and market conditions to deliver accurate reports and strategic plans.
> Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and represent the company in financial discussions and negotiations.

Job Requirement:
> Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
> Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
> Thorough knowledge of related tax laws and regulations.
> Proficiency in financial software and tools.
