247 graduate from BPKIHS
Dharan:Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai has underscored the importance of skilled health professionals for the overall development of the country.
Addressing the ninth convocation of the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan on Saturday, he said that the skilled human resource in medical science should not forget the rural and remote areas of the country. Bhattarai, who is the chancellor of the BPKIHS, said common people should have access to health services. The PM also managed to talk politics while delivering a written address. He said one and all should take initiatives to form a national consensus government to end the political transition.
Vice-chancellor Prof Dr Balabhadra Prasad Das said they would increase human resource, bed and laboratories in the hospital.
On the occasion, 247 students were conferred MD/MS, MSc, MPH, MBBS/BDS and BSc Nursing degrees.
