ANNISU-R padlocks dean office in KU
UCPN (Maoist) aligned All Nepal National Independent Students Union –Revolutionary (ANNISU-R) padlocked the dean’s office at School of Medical Science under the Kathmandu University (KU).
The dean’s office was locked immediately after the completion of the MBBS entrance examination on Saturday. “We locked the office after they were found taking high fees from the students,” said ANNISU-R Chairman Himal Sharma. “We have demanded that the guardians be allowed to pay the amount in installments,” he added.
ANNISU-R padlocked the office to bargain in the quota of the MBBS, sources claimed. Chairman Sharma, however, refuted such claims.
