Higher secondary students prohibited from riding bikes
Chitwan: Chitwan District Traffic Police Office has prohibited plus two level students to ride motorbikes and scooters aiming to lessen growing bike accidents in the district.
According to the traffic police office, the teenagers, mostly plus two students, are found to encounter several road mishaps for rampant riding.
Traffic authorities said higher secondary students would not get driving permission even if they have possessed driving license after meeting all due process.
Police here have intensified awareness campaign and action against those using cellular phone while driving vehicles and breaching traffic rules, said Ram Chandra Ghimire, chief of the District Traffic Police, Chitwan.
