Tribhuwan University Institute of Science and Technology, and Computer Science and Information Technology (CSIT) College Association Nepal organised an interaction on ‘Relevance of CSIT Education in Nepal’ on Saturday.

At the interaction, speakers said the bachelor’s level courses on CSIT had failed to rope in significant number of students despite offering education of international quality. “If we could raise awareness about CSIT courses, the Public Service Commission would start opening vacancies for computer engineering and software engineering,” Tribhuwan University Institute of Science and Technology dean Chirik Shobha Tamrakar said.
