Star India Group Host Nepal-India International Friendship Concert and Star International Education Award
Star India Group successfully organized Nepal-India International Friendship Concert and Star International Education Award -2020 in DAV Sushil Kedia Vishwa Bharati Higher Secondary School, Jawalakhel, Lalitpur, today (20th February, 2020).
A team of renowned Artist, Sanjukta Mukherjee- Vocalist from Guragaon, Swaati Sharma- Kathak Dancer from Faridabad, Sujata Ramnathan- Bharatnatyam artist from Mumbai, Chandana Appam- Kushipudi artist from Warangal, Aditi Jamdade, Sujata Bhide- Kathak artist from Pune, Tejash Yadav- Baratnatyam artist from Surat, Abha Wamburkar- Kathak artist from Pune and Sunita Jamdade- Kathak artist also from Pune won the most awaited, Bharat Gaurav Ratna Award, 2020. A team of artists also performed astounding dances and song which was key attraction of the programme.
The International Educational Award- 2020 was bestowed to DAV Sushil Kedia Vishwo Bharati School Lalitpur. Likewise, the Best Leadership Award was handed to DAV Chairman Shree Anil Kedia and the Principal Ms Bhubaneswari Rao won the Best Principal Award. The programme was supported by 'Bharatiya Sanskritik Birasat Kendra.
This is the twelfth times in row for DAV to win the prestigious Educational Excellence Award, 2020 and Best Leadership Award 2020 of Star International Group.
DAV Principal Ms. Bhubaneswari Rao expressed, 'it's proud feeling moment for all the family members of DAV School and privilege to have ' Bharat Gaurav Ratna' Award distribution ceremony in DAVSKVB School'. She equally congratulated all the teachers, students and parents' community who played significant role to win the Education Excellence Award- 2020 and Leadership Award 2020.
Prior to the Award Distribution ceremony, the managing director of Star Group International talked all about Bharat Gaurab Ratna Award and International Educational Award. He emphasized that human beings need to study of Cultural legacy of Nepal and India which could foster humanity, peace and harmony among the world citizen and illustrated the importance of education and culture innate in Pashupatinath and Lumbini and connected with the contribution of Vivekanand in India.
From Embassy of India, His Excellency Dr. Ajay Kumar also congratulated all the winner artist of Bharat Gaurav Ratna Award and equally appreciated DAV, Kathmandu for the prestigious Award, International Educational Award.
Dr. Kedarnath Sharma, director of Vivekannanda Center, Prof. Dr. Beerendra Pandey Tribhuvan University, Mr. Prem Lashkary – Head of Nepal India Friendship Forum were there to witness and congratulate the winners. Around one thousand spectators were present to witness the concert and award distribution ceremony.
