TBC Awards Two Students with The OHCT Scholarship for The Academic Year 2021-22
This year The British College launched The OHCT Scholarship and they are now proud to announce that for the first time it has been awarded to two students.
This exclusive fellowship has been designed for qualified undergraduate applicants with the specific aim of helping underprivileged students from across Nepal who wish to benefit from the exemplary global education provided at The British College.
The College was overwhelmed with applicants and as a result two students will now receive funding that will cover the entire four years of their tuition fees, along with all examination and university registration costs. The deserving recipients are Dawa Lama Tamang from Sindhupalchok, who will be studying the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), and RoshnaDhakal from Sindhuli, who will be studying the BSc (Hons) Computing.
RoshnaDhakal said in response, “I am truly overwhelmed to be awarded with this scholarship and would like to express my gratitude to TBC for seeing potential in students like me. I hope to use this opportunity to create a new generation of information technology”. Dawa Lama Tamang also expressed her gratitude, saying “I feel so grateful to be enrolled in such a renowned international College and will truly make the most of this opportunity”.
Mary Bishop, Executive Principal of The British College has said, “We are delighted to be funded for the OHCT Scholarship by the generosity of the O'Hea family. As a College we are passionate about developing skills in Nepal through our courses and were impressed with the number, and quality, of applications. We congratulate Dawa Lama Tamang and RoshnaDhakal, and wish them success in their studies”.
