The International Ambassador Scholarship is intended to recognise and provide financial support for outstanding students who wish to act as ambassadors for The University of West London.

The University of West London (UWL), a public research university, is one of the oldest universities in the United Kingdom. The University has won several prestigious accolades including the ‘University of the Year for Student Experience’ in the Times & Sunday Times Good university guide 2023, UK. The focus on providing exceptional employability skills has earned it the coveted title of ‘Career University'. The university has two campuses in West London, situated in Ealing and Brentford.

The University of West London offers an International Ambassador Scholarship programme which, each year, offers selected students up to 20 scholarships worth up to £1,000 towards first year undergraduate and postgraduate tuition fees for international fee-paying applicants.

International Ambassadors are active representatives of the University. They are expected to participate in current and future promotional activities and will be interviewed and photographed by the marketing department. As outstanding students, Ambassadors will also contribute from time to time in the promotion of the University of West London by supporting events organized for scholars or by the International Office. If you are an international fee-paying student with an offer to study a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate degree with us, you are eligible to apply for one of International Ambassador Scholarships.

Eligibility criteria
The International Ambassador Scholarship will be awarded on a competitive basis to candidates who demonstrate enthusiasm and the ability to be an excellent international student ambassador.

Applicants must be:
> An offer holder for an undergraduate or postgraduate course at UWL, to commence study in February or September Intake. This means, you must have already applied for a course of study at this University and you must have already received an official offer from one of our Admissions Officers.
> A self-funded overseas full fee-paying paying student.
