Position: Section Manager: Security
Position Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive security policies, procedures, and strategies for protecting the company’s asset.
- Design and execute long-term security plans in alignment with organizational goals
- Oversee security aspect of the transport fleet, ensuring efficient and safe operations, while implementing cost-effective solutions.
- Conduct security risk assessments and ensure preventive measures are in place for company assets, employees, and facilities.
- Understand security scenarios across operational locations and guide management and employees to ensure safety.
- Monitor surveillance systems, access controls, and emergency response mechanisms, collaborating with law enforcement agencies and external security service providers.
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans for crises such as fire, theft, and medical emergencies, conducting security drills and awareness programs.
- Ensure first aid, firefighting, and evacuation procedures are in place and regularly tested.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops on security and regulatory compliance topics to enhance employee awareness.
- Manage vendor contracts for security.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulatory developments, and best practices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners, regulatory authorities, and industry stakeholders.
- Conduct thorough regulatory assessments and gap analyses to identify areas of non-compliance.
- Develop and implement compliance & security strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor and interpret changes in regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with legal, industry, and company-specific guidelines.
- Provide expert advice on regulatory compliance and assist in preparing and submitting necessary filings, reports, and documentation.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Management / Law / Political Science with 10 years of relevant experience along with 6 years in managerial experience OR Master's degree in Management / Law / Political Science with 8 years of working experience along with 3 years in managerial experience
- Experience in law enforcement, military or other security related authorities is highly desirable
- Experience in handling contracts, vendors and security management
- Familiarity with local regulatory and compliance requirements related to security.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks and requirements in telecommunication industry.

Duty Station: Kathmandu but can be placed anywhere in Nepal as per business needs and future requirements
