Vacancy notice:
Rolling Plans Pvt. Ltd (RPPL) announces the vacancy for Rural Enterprises and Remittance Project (RERP) . SAMRIDDHI is a seven-year project funded by International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD) and executed by the Ministry of Industry (MOI). Government of Nepal (GON) that aims at providing sustainable sources of income to poor households, migrant families and returnees in the Eastern and Central Regions of Nepal, by supporting the creation and expansion of family, micro, small and medium rural enterprises, both in the farming and off farming sectors. The goal of the project is reducing poverty and achieving sustainable peace through employment-focused, equitable and inclusive economic development.
The Project Development Objective is 'viable rural micro, small and medium enterprises (RMSEs), both in farming and off-farming sectors, provide sustainable source of income to rural poor households, migrant families and returnees'
The project intends to cover 16 districts from the Estern and Central Development Regions following a (north-south road) corridor approach to facilitate connection of hill districts to larger market in Terai. Majority of targeted beneficiaries come from below the national poverty line. The Project facilitates household level income generating activities, supports rural micro cottage-small enterprises and producer organiztion, and facilitates job placement to the trained youth. During the course of implementation, the Project also supports/collaborates with the medium and large enterprises to ensure market for the produced and also for job placements facilities to the youth.
The total cost of the project is USD 68.2 million: IFAD loan and grant of USD 21.8 million (32%) and USD 16.8 million (25%) respectively, GON contribution of USD 9.1 million (13%), private sector contribution of USD 13.7 million (20%) and beneficiaries, contribution of USD 6.6 million (10%). The project intends to cover a total of 179,000 primary benificiaries and their households who will either create or expand their own business, or be hired as skilled or unskilled labour by other enterprises/companies. Besides, the project provides financial education to 213,120 people who are either migrants or household members. Support to different types of enterprises will depend on the nature of poverty.

3. Business Development Specialist (1)

4. Migration Specialist (1)

5. Financial Inclusion Specialist (1)
> Duty station: PMO Itahari, Sunsari with frequent travel the project areas (about 50% of the time)

6. Rural Finance Specialist (1)
> Duty station: PMO, Itahari, Sunsari with frequent travel to Kathmandu and project districts (about 50% of the time)

7. Knowledge Management Specialist (KMS) (1)

8. Targeting, Gender and Social Inclusion Specialist (1)
> Duty station: Project Management Office at Itahari, Sunsari District with at least 50% travel to the Project Districtt

> Reports to: Project Manager
9. Financial Management Officer (FMO) (1)
> Duty station: PMO Itahari, Sunsari with frequent travel to Kathmandu and the project areas (about 30% of the time)
> Mode of Contract:
Annual, with six-months’ probation period, and extendable up to the project period based on satisfactory performance
> Reports to: Chief of Accounts (government deputed)
10. Data Management Officer (1)
> Duty station: PMO Itahari, Sunsari with some travel to Project districts and Kathmandu
> Mode of Contract:
Annual, with initial 6-month probation period, and extendable up to the project period based on satisfactory performance
> Reports to: PM&E Specialist
11. Procurement Officer (PO) (1)
> Duty station: PMO Itahari, Sunsari with somet travel to Kathmandu and Project areas
> Mode of Contract:
Annual, with six-months’ probation period, and extendable up to the Project period based on satisfactory performance
> Reports to: Project Manager
12. Administrative Officer (1)
> Duty station: PMO Itahari, Sunsari
> Mode of Contract:
Annual, with initial 6-month probation period, and extendable up to the project period based on satisfactory performance

13. Corridor Coordinator (CO) (2)
> Duty station: Corridor Office- Itahari, Sunsariand Bardibas, Mahottari with frequent travel to the project districts (about 50% of the time)
> Mode of Contract:
Annual, with six-months’ probation period, and extendable up to the Project period based on satisfactory performance
> Reports to: Project Manager

15. Migration Officer (2)

> Reports to: Migration Specialist at PMO and Corridor Coordinator
16. Administration and Finance Officer (2)
> Duty station: Corridor Office Itahari, Sunsari, Bardibas and Mahttari with some travel to Project areas
