Course Description:
Tribhuvan University's Master of Business Administration in Finance (MBA-F) is a full-time rigorous academic program in management that allows students to learn the subject matter in depth and achieve a high level of specialist knowledge in a short period of time. The program seeks to develop professional skills in students, particularly those required to successfully manage financial institutions that are rapidly growing and expanding around the world as a result of economic liberalization, globalization, and technological digitalization.
Along with the core academic curriculum, students will work on research projects in the field of financial management, which will teach them how to solve financial and management problems.
Program Objectives
> To prepare dedicated business leaders for the development of the Nepalese financial sector with global perspectives;
> To produce financial managers and leaders with people skills who can successfully manage and control the treasury of business organizations with great efficiency
> To develop self-motivated and competent financial analysts and consultants, equipped with capacity to launch their own sustainable financial services firms;
> To build skillful manpower with financial problem solving and analyzing capabilities.
Admission info
Eligibility:
- BBM, BBA, BTTM, BBS, BPA, BMS or equivalents in any discipline with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 with a letter grade 'B" or CGPA of 2.00 with letter grade 'C' (pass before 2021) or second division marks.
Students who are waiting for results of bachelor level can also apply. However, they have to submit a passed certificate at the time of admission.
The Central Department of Management shall conduct a four stage admission tests i.e. Written test, Group Discussion, Individual Presentation and Personal Interview, for appropriate screening of applicants. The applicants shall be screened in each of the stages.
Syllabus
The MBA Finance is 2 year, 4 semester, full time program. The course comprises of 60 credits, made up of foundation, core, capstone, concentrations, seminars and elective courses. The program is designed in such a manner that the required managerial skills of the students can be developed in a gradual manner.
