200 Dalit students honoured
Kathmandu: Nepal National Dalit Liberation Front has felicitated 200 Dalit students.
Organising a programme on Saturday, the Dalit Front honored students including 20 with distinction, 50 first division and130 second divisions in the School Leaving Certificate examinations from Kathmandu in 2067 BS.
The felicitated are Pramila Ramtel (90.13 per cent), who secured highest marks from among Dalit students, Ruchi Darnal (89.38 per cent), Sanjeev Ghatane (89 per cent), among others.
Felicitating the students, UCPN-Maoist politburo member and lawmaker Biswobhakta Dulal said the educated Dalit students should get proper place in employment.
