7th ECAN fair kicks off
After successfully organising the education fair for the last six years, Education Consultancy Association of Nepal (ECAN) has decided to organise “Seventh ECAN Education Fair”. The three-day fair will kick off in the Exhibition Hall at Bhrikutimandap on Thursday.
ECAN is the largest and only exhibition organised by the professionals who have made their contribution in the academic sector. While other fairs are fast losing their charm and visitors, the ECAN fair has been witnessing a soar in the number of participants every year.
Like in the past, the seventh edition of the fair aims to provide holistic information to students looking to pursue higher studies in foreign countries. It focuses on career counselling and information about national and international education al institutions, targeted towards students aspiring to study abroad and their parents. The event intends to act as an interaction forum for Nepali consultants, students, parents and international academic institutions. It is expected to provide a good platform for students and their parents to get right and relevant information on the available academic degrees in and outside the country, making it easier for them to choose from a wide array of study destinations.
Education consultancies, diplomatic missions and agencies, national and foreign colleges and universities will be participating in the event. The fair will have 181 stalls, including 21 pavilion.
The event will be held from 11am to 6pm daily and aims to attract 150,000 students. The students can also obtain information about preparatory classes, bridge courses and scholarship schemes offered by various colleges and universities from the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, India, Ireland, Switzerland and China, among others.
