American Courses at Himalayan WhiteHouse International College
Kathmandu: Himalayan WhiteHouse International College organized a press conference on Friday September 1, to announce an imminent tie-up with the Stratford University, Virginia, USA.
Yuvraj Sharma, Chief Executive and Director for WhiteHouse College said the reason behind the collaboration is “to provide students with American standard education in Nepal.”
Stratford University will offer undergraduate and graduate level courses on Business Management, Information Technology, Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management.
“Students will have to pay only around 20 percent of the total cost they are normally charged by any American university,” he said.
According to Richard R. Shurtz II, President for Stratford University, the university’s annual graduate percentage is 85, and 90 percent of its students get job placements.
He also informed that the curriculum of Stratford University will be revised and changed to suit the need of the country.
The teachers will be trained by the university’s Delhi based campus which runs in association with KK Modi group. The courses are to begin from the next academic session in 2012.
