ANNFSU calls education strike today
CPN-UML-affiliated All Nepal National Free Students' Union (ANNFSU) has called academic strike on Monday protesting against police intervention.
ANNFSU General Secretary Kishore Malla said they were compelled to call education strike as police interfered their torch rally on Sunday night.
The ANNFSU had taken out torch rally in the capital yesterday demanding to release student leaders who were arrested some two weeks back following a clash at Pashupati Campus.
Some 28 students including ANNFSU secretary Rachana Khadka were injured when police intervened the rally, Malla said.
