ANNFSU submits memo to TU officials demanding FSU election by mid-April
The All Nepal National Free Students´ Union (ANNFSU) has submitted a memorandum to Tribhuvan University (TU) Vice-Chancellor Dr Hira Bahadur Maharjan demanding Free Students´ Union (FSU) election by mid-April.
Noting that the FSU election has not taken place for the past six years, the ANNFSU handed over a memorandum with the ultimatum to hold election by mid-April, said ANNFSU Spokesperson RC Lamichhane.
The memorandum states that the TU should hold FSU election within a couple of months at a time when all students´ unions are ready to vie for election.
TU VC Dr Maharjan said that the TU is ready to hold FSU polls and all students´ organizations should lend support to that end.
