Apex Cultural Day from Apex College
Apex College celebrated the Apex Cultural Day, with the slogan ‘Our culture unites us’, on August 9. An effort of Apex Tourism Club, the event was also supported by other student clubs of the college.
It was jointly inaugurated by principal LP Bhanu Sharma, vice principal Tika Upreti and director of academic affairs Vinay Kumar Sharma. Students, on the occasion, performed a diverse range of cultural dances. The central attraction of the day was the ethnic walk in which participants showcased the attire of Tharu, Newari, Lama, Sherpa, Maithali, Marwari, Thakuri, Raute and other communities. Besides these, prize distribution programme of Apex Day 2012, Apex SMART 2013, Apex Sports Week 2013 and Fresher’s Party 2013 was also organised.
