Australia honours Professor Gyanendra Malla
The International Emergency Medicine Special Interest Group of Australian College of Emergency Medicine has awarded international scholarship to four people from Nepal, Myanmar, Solomon Islands and Vanuatu. The group had selected Professor Gyanendra Malla for the award from Nepal. Malla received the award in Adelaide, South Australia, on November 24.
Malla is the head of the General Practice and Emergency Medicine department at the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan.
He had obtained the fellowship in Emergency Medicine from South Australia in 2004.
In collaboration with Australian colleagues from ACEM, fellowship in Emergency Medicine started at BPKIHS this October.
