CIMA Global Business Challenge 2015 calls for applications
For undergraduate students, here’s an opportunity to participate in a global competition related with business.
The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) is organizing its CIMA Global Business Challenge 2015, an international business competition for undergraduate students, in partnership with Barclays Bank, the UK.
The competition that started in 2009 has been taking place in different countries every year. Nepal started participating since 2012.
To participate, students will have to form a group of four and register online.
During the initial phase of the competition, CIMA will provide each group with a case study, and the groups will have to submit a 3,000-word report on the same.
Four teams will be shortlisted, based on the report, and they will have to present their ideas to a panel of judges in Nepal.
The top three teams will also be awarded with cash prizes.
The best team will get to participate in the finals to be held in Warsaw, Poland, in August.
Students from 25 other countries will be competing for the title in the finals. The global winner will get job opportunities at CIMA and Barclays Bank.
The registration and participation is free. The deadline for registration is March 1 while reports need to be submitted by March 31.
