CTD training higher secondary teachers
Bhaktapur: The Curriculum and Training Division (CTD) at Higher Secondary Education Board has started a teachers training programme for higher secondary level teachers across the country.
Ram Chandra Panday, chief, CTD said the training programme was launched across the country to increase the professional skill and knowledge of teachers.
Training programmes have been launched in different parts of the country, identifying the regions and subjects on the basis of needs, said Panday. Currently, teachers teaching Nepali from Taplejung and teachers of Mathematics from Mechi region are participating in the training in Ilam. Chemistry teachers from Purbanchal are being trained in Dharan. Other teachers are participating in training programmes in Lahan and Bajhang.
CTD had earlier this year organised a weeklong training programme in 30 places across the country in various subjects such as Nepali, Mathematics, Marketing, Finance, Business Studies, Computer Science and Education.
