Eight booked for leaking MBBS scholarship question paper
Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority filed charge-sheets against eight persons, including Tri Chandra Multiple Campus teacher Devi Ram Pandey, at the Special Court today, charging them with leaking MBBS scholarship exam question paper.
According to a press release issued by the anti-corruption body, the charge-sheets were also filed against Prabhat Kumar Kushbaha, Dharmendra Yadav, Jiwachh Kumar Yadav, Khecharnath Sapkota, Maheshwar Yadav, Shaif Akhtar and Dhanendra Prasad Sangraula under Prevention of Corruption Act.
They have been accused of receiving a bribe of Rs 34,25,000 from four examinees with a promise to help them clear the exam. The CIAA has accused them of leaking the question paper at Golden Gate International College centre on December 6 ahead of the exam scheduled by the Ministry of Education.
