Eighth ECAN fair to begin on June 26
The Education Consultancy Association of Nepal (ECAN) is all set to organise the eighth ECAN Fair in the Capital next month. More than 180 national and international academic institutions and consultancies will showcase their programmes from 160 stalls and 20 pavilions during the four-day event that will start on June 26 at the Bhrikuti Mandap Exhibition Hall, according to the organisers.
“The fair will have answers to every query of the visitors regarding higher education inside the country and abroad,” said ECAN President Rajendra Baral at a press meet organised in Kathmandu on Thursday. Baral said the fair, supported by the Ministry of Education, Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, International Chambers Commerce and the British Council, is expected to witness over 150,000 footfalls.
The expo will also witness participation of representatives of colleges and universities from countries like India, China, Bangladesh, Japan, France, United States, Britain, New Zealand, Australia, Ireland, Norway, Finland, Malaysia, Germany, Russia and Denmark.
