Examinee teachers left in lurch after CIAA directive
Examinee teachers are left in the lurch after their interview programme for the fulfillment of teachers' vacancies by the Teachers' Service Commission (TSC) was stalled after directives from the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA).
Timetable for fulfillment of teachers of secondary level had been fixed for the Far Western Development Region from December 26, but has been stalled and another date has not been fixed.

However, the TSC has notified that it was stalled because of the CIAA direction and the commission is not clear about it as CIAA has been investigating on irregularities of the results in western region. The CIAA directed to stop the interview on Wednesday.
Staffs deputed for examination in the Regional Education Directorate have returned to Kathmandu. Under Secretary Narayan Dhungana urged teachers to wait for another notice.
Some teachers' organisations have urged CIAA not to stop interview in all districts due to irregularities in some districts.
Chairman of the All Nepal Teachers' Organisation Lal Bahadur BC said fulfillment has been obstructed all over the country on the basis of complaints in certain districts even as the vacancies were opened for fulfillment from written examination after 17 years.
NNTO General Secretary Laxman Sharma said he was amazed by the CIAA direction.The TSC is yet to publish results of primary level.
