Golden Gate science expo kicks off, 50,000 footfalls expected
The country’s one of the oldest and largest science exhibition s that showcases creations of physics, chemistry and biology students has started in the Capital.
The three-day science exhibition being held on the premises of Golden Gate International College begun on Saturday. The expo boast a total of 65 stalls put up by several science colleges from across the country. Organised by Science Club of Golden Gate International College in collaboration with All Nepal National Student Union (ANNFSU), the exhibition is expected to receive around 50,000 footfalls in three days.
Speaking during the inaugural session of the exhibition , Ramesh Silwal, chief executive
officer of the college, said the event provides a platform to students to boost their creative abilities. Positive responses from science students to such exhibition s has encouraged Golden Gate to organise more events in the future, he said.
Silwal maintained science exhibition s help students convert their ideas into innovative projects that make an impact on human beings. “The collaboration with ANNFSU was our initiative to bring student unions to constructive works,” he said.
