HISSAN puts forth demands
BHAKTAPUR: The Higher Secondary Schools Association of Nepal on Monday demanded that the Higher Secondary Education Board introduce the provision of answer sheet re-checking of grade XI and XII by amending its rules and regulations.
HISSAN has also demanded that the provision should be introduced from the academic session 2015-16. A delegation of HISSAN, led by its president and Constituent Assembly member Umesh Shrestha, put forth eight-point demand to the HSEB to upgrade the quality of Plus Two education and bring changes in other institutional developments. HISSAN’s other demands include publishing the results of re-totalling before the supplementary exam, appointment of professionals in the vacant posts of vice chairperson and member secretary, representation of HISSAN representatives in various committees formed by the HSEB, permanent affiliation to Plus Two colleges and publication of academic calendar.
