HSEB to monitor Plus Two schools from tomorrow
The Higher Secondary Education Board is all set to start monitoring higher secondary schools in the Kathmandu Valley regarding the implementation of code of conduct and other issues from Sunday.
A meeting of Code of Conduct Monitoring Central Committee held yesterday has already formed two groups for the task.
Suprabhat Bhandari, president, Guardians Association Nepal, who is also a member of the monitoring committee, said they were going to monitor the higher secondary schools to confirm whether they are following the government rules and regulations. “We have not listed out the names of schools to visit,” he said, adding, “It will be decided on Sunday. We want to visit the schools without giving them a prior notice.”
Earlier, All Nepal National Independent Students Union-Revolutionary had submitted a memorandum to HSEB Kathmandu Office to implement the past agreements and fix the maximum ceiling of fee structure, take action against Plus Two schools for irregularities in scholarship distribution and others.
