Israeli students donate books
Hanan Goder-Goldberger, Ambassador of Israel to Nepal today handed over a collection to Prof Rajesh Gangol, Dean of Patan Academy for the Health Science at a programme held at Patan Hospital.
The students of Ben Gurion University School for International Health in Beer Sheva, Israel had sent the books with the initiative of Prof Michael Alkan for Nepali students, the Embassy said in a press statement.
Prof Alkan had been instrumental in promoting Patan Academy in Israel since its inception in 2008. Ambassador Goldberger expressed satisfaction at the ongoing cooperation between the two hospitals. He said the embassy would be happy to see such projects in future too, the statement read.
