KUSOM welcomes new BBA students
The Kathmandu University School of Management (KUSOM) welcomed new students in BBA with a three-day long orientation programme. The event started with an orientation session at Kathmandu University, Dhulikhel on August 6.
On the first day, various personnel from Kathmandu University — Vice Chancellor Dr Ram Kantha Makaju Shrestha, Registrar Dr Bhola Thapa and Dean Prof Subas KC — addressed the new students.
The students also had lots of fun taking part in activities like games and feast at Dhulikhel Resort. They also got to participate on a trip around Chaukot and Kathmandu University of Medical School.
Meanwhile, on the second day, they had the chance to listen to the speeches of Sixit Bhatta, educationalist/toastmaster of Nepal and Karna

The newcomers then showcased their managerial and creative potential through Business Stimulation game. They had to use different ways such as skit or paper presentation to allure people towards their product. While playing games, they also listened to the experiences of students — Sumit Agrawal, a student of BBA Vth Semester, and Astha Basnet, student of BBA IIIrd Semester — studying at KUSOM.
On the third day of the orientation programme on KUSOM premises, the new students were introduced to the various agenda of the college — related to clubs, mega event, festival, library rules, IT concerns, report writing, et cetera. The programme ended with a talent round where students performed amazing dance and songs. The winners of different games organised during the orientation were also awarded at the event.
