MoE announces names of best performing schools
The Ministry of Education today announced the names of 13 best performing schools across the country.
The schools will be awarded on the occasion of National Education Day on Sunday for their outstanding performance in the last academic session. The ministry made public the schools’ names at a press meet in the Capital today. Every year, MoE honours the best schools, coinciding with National Education Day.
Myagdi based-Beni Community Secondary School and GEMS School of Dhapakhel, Lalitpur, have been selected from among the community and institutional schools respectively. They will receive Rs 200,000 from the government on the National Education Day.
Similarly, MoE has selected Schoolchaun Secondary School of Jhapa from Eastern Development Region, Tarun Secondary School of Kathmandu from Central Develop
ment Region, Bal Mandir Secondary School of Kaski from Western Development Region, Kanakasundari Secondary School of Jumla from MidWestern Development Region and Galeshwor Secondary School of Baitadi from Far-Western Development Region as the best community schools in the regional level.
Likewise, Bal Kalyan Bidhya Mandir Secondary School of Morang from Eastern Region, Nightingale
Secondary School of Lalitpur from Central, New Horizon English Boarding School of Rupandehi from Western, Gorkha United Public School of Banke from Mid-Western and International Public School of Mahendranagar from Far-Western Region have been selected as best institutional schools. Ratna Secondary School from Bagadipauta, Bajhang, will be awarded for best performer in the remote part of the country.
