Nepal-India partnership on education
Deputy Chief of mission of the Indian Embassy, Jaydeep Majumdar, on Tuesday inaugurated Education Department of Nepal-India Human Development and Friendship Association.
Organisers said the department was formed with the aim of establishing partnership between India and Nepal in the education sector. Surendra Thapa is the president of the department and Basudev Poudel is the vice president.
Khem Raj Kharel and Damodar Adhikari are general secretary and treasurer of the department. The department will strengthen educational exchange programmes between India and Nepal, Majumdar said.
