Nepali student commits suicide in US
New York: A Nepali student pursuing his nursing studies in the US has committed suicide in New York on Sunday.
Bhesh Raj Panday, 25, a permanent resident of Kerung in Argakhanchi district, died while undergoing treatment at a hospital in New York. Panday was found unconscious in his apartment at Ridgewood in the city. Though the reason behind his death has not been confirmed by the hospital, the initial reports by the police suggest that Panday had committed suicide. Police also recovered poisonous medicine at Panday’s apartment.
Panday, who reached the US five years ago, had completed his nursing course from Hostos College and had worked at a hospital in North Carolina for some months. Chairman of the Nepali Ridgewood Society Shree Parajuli informed that Panday was much concerned about his career lately
