Nepali youth's book nominated for Nobel Literature Prize
RajanThapaliya’s book ‘Life Is Not Easy’ has been nominated for the Nobel Literature Prize-2015 at the Swedish Academy.
RajanThapaliya is a resident of New York and had co-authored the book. The co-author of the book is a Canadian poet Ann Brady. The book is a collection of poetry where the authors are sharing their own experiences with the world.
Rajan is the author of several other books about love, life and success.
Other books by Thapaliya include: ‘Think About It’, ‘Simple Rules’, ‘Turning Point’, ‘Amazing Business Ideas’, and ‘Life is Not Easy’. He is preparing for his upcoming book ‘Be Ready’.
‘Life Is Not Easy’ has touched different sides of life and there is a hint of Natural Canadian flavor as well as messages about life in general.
Thapaliya believes that we should not run from the struggle because a way to success is through struggle and struggle leads to victory. The struggle is what makes life worth living and it makes the victory all the better.
The nomination process for the Nobel Prize in Literature is by request and members of the academies, social workers and professors are allowed to nominate possible candidates to win the award.
By April, twenty qualified candidates are selected and they are reviewed and cut down to a list of five names.
In the following months the qualified candidates lives are reviewed and the Academy members vote in October. The candidate who receives the most votes is chosen for the Nobel Prize in Literature.
