Kathmandu: The CTEVT committee of Nepal Student Union (NSU) has announced an agitation demanding uniformity in fee structure of collages affiliated to Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT).

In a press conference organised in the Capital on Thursday, Chairman of NSU CTEVT committee Ganesh Sapkota said the fee structures in different collages were dissimilar. "We had submitted 16-point demand on July 13 and had made agreement with CTEVT, but no step has been taken to fulfill our demands."

"Since CTEVT has neglected our demands we have announced our protests from July 29," he said. According to the protest programmes, the committee will inform about their demands by visiting each examination centre and meeting students on July 29-30. On July 31, the agitators will padlock CTEVT indefinitely.
