PABSON meet on Saturday
The 11th national general convention of Private and Boarding Schools Organisation, Nepal (PABSON) is going to take place on February 18, the association said at a press meet today.
The slogan of the two-day event, to be held at GEMS, Dhapakhel, Lalitpur, is ‘Peace and Creation-Main Bases of Education, Equal Rights for All in Attaining Quality Education’.
Organisers of the meet said the general convention will dwell on Private School Education Act, enforcement of declaration of schools as a peace zone and registration of private schools under the company act.
At a press conference organised here today to make public the decision, PABSON Chairperson Rajesh Khadka stressed on the need to incorporate private schools under a broader education act.
As many as 1,700 representatives from 68 districts are due to take part in the general convention, said PABSON.
