SLC chance exams begin
The Supplementary School Leaving Certificate (SLC)-2069 examinations kicked off across the country on Sunday. The exams will conclude on August 11.
According to Prahlad Aryal, deputy controller at the Sanothimi-based Office of the Controller of Examinations in Bhaktapur, informed that 111,000 students are sitting for the chance exams in 236 examination centres. Examinees, who flunked in two subjects, can sit for the chance exams. On the first day, 31,000 examinees sat for English paper. According to OCE, 55,000 students had failed in Science and 50,000 in Maths in SLC exams.
